Three drivers from the upper Midwest headed South this week for one of the most esteemed races of the year. Dan Fredrickson and Ross Kenseth, competitors in the American Speed Association® Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and grandstay.net, and Dennis Prunty, Slinger Speedway Superstar, are spending the week in Pensacola, Florida for the acclaimed, Snowball Derby.
You will be able to follow the status of all three drivers through the ASA Midwest Tour website. In fact, Dan Fredrickson will be the topic of one of Speed51.com's "Derby Diaries," sponsored by Direct PEX.
"The Derby Diaries are a tradition of Speed51.com's Snowball Derby coverage. Each year, we follow around a few drivers and experience the Snowball Derby from their point of view. A few of the past Derby Diaries have featured Gary St. Amant, Chase Elliott, Kevin Cywinski, Dave Mader, Steve Wallace and Josh Hamner," said Mike Twist of Speed51.com.
Each day, Speed51.com will record a video of Fredrickson and his thoughts on what happened throughout the day at the track. With Dan's personality and it being his first Snowball Derby experience, his Derby Diary will certainly be a great one to watch.
You can stay up-to-date by coming back to the ASAMT website throughout the week for updates and links on the latest from the Snowball Derby.
Everyone with the ASA Midwest Tour wishes Dan, Ross and Dennis the best of luck!
