Cars, Trailers and Parts Are Among Items Up For Grabs

“This is like the old days” one employee of this weekend’s Midwest Motorsports Racer’s Expo was overheard stating while preparing for the two day event taking place this Friday and Saturday, January 8 and 9 at Madison’s Alliant Energy Center, Veterans Memorial. A modern day record of consignors have preregistered nearly two thousand parts and thirty vehicles for the auction which will begin at 4pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday.
“The amount of calls and consignments we have had to this point is incredible.” Stated Auction Manager Gregg McKarns. “That coupled with the Trade Show and Seminars has made this a don’t miss event. The auction has and always will be a friend to the racer and their wallet, whether buying, selling or both.” Top Midwest based teams, engine builders, parts suppliers and manufacturers have helped build an impressive pre-consignment.
The C-Lots which include racecars, haulers, trailers and more will begin rolling through the auction ring on Saturday at noon. “If you or someone you know is looking for a racecar, trailer and/or hauler, they will not be disappointed.” Added McKarns. A nice selection of Lefthander, Pathfinder and RanderCar asphalt late models from turn key down to bare chassis will be available as well as numerous dirt modifieds and Super Stock/Hobby Stock style machines. Multiple entry level cars will catch the eye of beginners and veterans alike. Bidders will have the opportunity to purchase open or enclosed trailers, multiple haulers, ATV’s and more as the C-Lots go on the block.
Consignments will be accepted Wednesday from 4-8pm and again on Thursday from 11am-8pm. Walk in consignments will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Friday will see doors open at 3pm for the Trade Show and inspection of the auction lots with the first item going on the auction block at 4pm. Activities start at 8am on Saturday with the auction beginning at 9am, seminars begin at 10am while the Trade Show concludes at 6pm with the auction continuing until the last item sells, approximately 10pm.
Ten dollars will allow you access to both days or a single day of the Midwest Motorsports Racer’s Expo and includes access to all Seminars, the Trade Show and Auction, including a Free bidder’s card.
