Gresham Motorsports Park is proud to announce the addition of the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models to the 2011 racing schedule. The PASS series will make an eventful return to the track on July 16, 2011.
PASS South has not appeared at the newly renovated Gresham Motorsports Park since the track's reopening in November, 2009. The last time the PASS series visited the facility was in 2007 for the Firecracker 125 when the track was Peach State Speedway.
In 2011, PASS South will come together with the Opening Ceremonies for the Dizzy Dean Baseball World Series on Wednesday, July 13 to provide an action packed weekend for baseball and race fans alike.
"I couldn't be more pleased to have PASS South come in for this event in July," said Dan Elliott, General Manager at Gresham Motorsports Park. "Tom Mayberry and I have been working on this race for the past couple of months. I feel that he brings a level of excitement and enthusiasm that has made his PASS racing series one of the most successful and competitive in the South."
The PASS South season will open at the newly improved Anderson Motor Speedway GMP Logoon March 12, 2011. Before making their way to Gresham Motorsports Park, PASS will make a stop at Dillon Motor Speedway, North Wilkesboro, Hickory Motor Speedway, South Boston, Orange County Speedway and Motor Mile Speedway.
