Kangaroo Express to Sponsor 2010 Summer Shootout Series
Chain of C-Stores Hops Into Title Sponsorship Role

Kangaroo Express, operated by The Pantry, Inc., one of the most widely recognized convenience store chains in the southeastern United States, will be the title sponsor of the 2010 Summer Shootout Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The Kangaroo Express Summer Shootout kicks off June 8 and runs each Tuesday night through August 10 on Charlotte Motor Speedway's frontstretch quarter-mile oval. Each night of the 10-race series will feature a full slate of Legend Car and Bandolero racing. Tickets are just $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 6 to 12, while children under 6 are admitted free.

Tickets for the Kangaroo Express Summer Shootout are available in advance at the speedway ticket office and at Gates 4 and 5 the night of the event. Parking is free. Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with preliminary
action at 5:30. Feature racing begins at 7:30 p.m.
