Plymouth runner-up Joe Beaver is in third place, five points behind Griffin. Ft. Wayne native Al Cook Jr. is in fourth place, three points behind Beaver. Last season’s rookie of the year Steve Stacy is in fifth place, four points behind Cook Jr.

Angola native Kale Asztalos, who led the first 45 laps of last year’s event, is excepted to make his 2010 series debut Saturday. Spencerville native Tony Dager has built a new car to compete in selected events with the series this season including this Saturday’s event.
