Lester Buildings Builds on Success in ASA Midwest Tour
Signs On as a General Series Sponsor
Series PR Report
The American Speed Association® Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and Grandstay® Residential Suites Hotels will be joined by Lester Buildings LLC of Lester Prairie, MN, as a general series sponsor for the 2010 racing season. Lester Buildings is one of the nation's top pre-engineered wood frame building companies, with over 140,000 structures dotting the U.S. landscape. All Lester buildings - from simple storage buildings and shops to equestrian and commercial buildings - are custom-engineered and come with a Lifetime Structural Design Warranty.

Founded in 1947 as a regional factory-direct operation, Lester Buildings has grown to be the industry's largest independent dealer-based company with distribution in over 30 states, from the Rocky Mountains to the East Coast.  According to Lester Marketing Manager, Tom Borgman, recent growth has come through innovative technology. "It reinvents the way buildings are planned and purchased - for consumers and our builders alike," stated Borgman. Pointing to Lester eBuildings, America's only instant online post-frame building pricing, as well as industry-leading design software, Borgman added, "Buying a Lester building is a more transparent, collaborative and confident experience, unlike any other."

Along with the company's continued growth and innovation, come new marketing initiatives. In 2004, Lester sponsored Tim Sauter, father of ASAMT driver Travis Sauter, in the ASA National Tour. Then, like now, Borgman knew that racing is the largest spectator sport in the world, and, that fans have an intense loyalty to sponsor products. "Racing allows us to stand out while providing targeted critical mass reach into our various building markets. Enthusiasts tend to be active, mobile types who own boats, RVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, what have you, and, at some point, these folks need a building."

Tim Sauter Comments on his Lester Building

Steve Einhaus, ASAMT Vice President and Borgman had been talking for a long time about how they could team up and build a partnership.  "When you consider the solid, innovative approach that the ASAMT has followed for its own growth, our affiliation with the ASAMT now makes perfect sense," Borgman said. Einhaus agreed. "Lester Buildings is an industry leader and has watched the ASAMT grow to be one of the finest racing series in the country. This partnership is a great fit for both of us and we are confident that we can drive business to Lester Buildings for years to come."
