Sunoco National Tour Calls Off Salem Event
Plans In the Works For Milwaukee Mile Doubleheader
Series PR Report

The Camaros and Mustangs on the Sunoco National Tour will have to wait for Milwaukee.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, this weekend’s race at Salem Speedway has been cancelled.

“We tried everything we could to make this event happen; unfortunately we couldn’t get the support we needed to have a successful race. I want to thank everyone at Salem Speedway, they have been great to work with, and this is by no means a reflection on Salem Speedway or the great people that work there. This economy is tough and we just have to make the best of it. We look forward to returning to Salem in the future” stated Series President, Ron Varney.

The Sunoco National Tour will have a make up race at the Milwaukee Mile on July 17th after the ASA Late Model Series event the same day.

Details about the double header at Milwaukee will be released soon.
