In 2009, Speed 51 Radio and RaceTalkRadio.com took fans to the track with live internet radio broadcasts from all across the county. From the Winchester 400 in Indiana, to the Snowball Derby in Florida, Speed 51 Radio brought the biggest short track races to the internet airwaves on all over the world on RaceTalkRadio.com.
2010 is now underway and Speed 51 Radio will start out the season right by bringing fans live flag-to-flag coverage of the first major Late Model event of the season. RaceTalkRadio.com will be the place to log-on for live coverage of both the Super Late Model 250 and Pro Late Model 150 races that make up the sixth annual CRA Super Series SpeedFest event at Lanier National Speedway (GA) on January 31st.
Speed 51 Radio regular Elgin “Stat Boy” Traylor and Allison Fulson will make up the broadcast team along with Short Track Television Personality Derek Pernesiglio. The trio will cover a field made up some of the best Super Late Model and Pro Late Model drivers in the county.
Thanks to Racing Electronics, fans at the track with scanners and radio receivers can turn to frequency 454.5000 and listen to live coverage of the events at Lanier National Speedway on Sunday.
“For the second year in a row Speedfest will be part of the Speed51/RaceTalkRadio lineup to help thaw out the short track fans need for speed,” said Dennis Michelson of RaceTalkRadio.com. “Fans at Speedfest can listen to the live play-by-play coverage on their scanners at 454.5000 too.”
The SpeedFest broadcast along with all the previous racing events can be played back anytime at RaceTalkRadio.com.
SpeedFest action will be broadcast on RaceTalkRadio.com.
