ACT Quebec Series - Donald Theetge of Boischatel, QC scored his second win of the season at the Riverside 150 at Riverside Speedway in St-Croix, Quebec. Theetge is now the all-time win leader for the Serie ACT Castrol with 14 career wins. Theetge was chased to the line by Sylvain Lacombe and Patrick Hamel, the only other two on the lead lap.

Jacques Poulin came home fourth followed by Karl Allard, Dany Ouellet, Patrick Cliche, Eric St-Gelais, Stephane Descoste, and David Michaud to complete the top ten respectively.

Unofficially Theetge now moves back into the point lead after Patrick Laperle had rearend issues. Laperle had to replace his rearend after it broke in his heat race. His crew got it repaired in time for the feature, but Laperle had to start in 25th. Laperle moved from his 25th starting position through the field and into the lead by lap 22. He then led until lap 98 and lapped the majority of the field in the process. On the 99th circuit his rearend let go again and he was done for the day.

Sylvain Lacombe then inherited the lead. After battling Stephane Descoste for about 17 laps, Theetge moved into the lead and held on until the checkers.

ARCA RE/MAX Series - Parker Kligerman won Sunday's race on the dirt at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield over Ron Cox, Patrick Sheltra, AJ Fike and Steve Arpin.

ASA Late Models - Chris Eggleston won the ASA Late Model North Series event at Dixie Motor Speedway

This was Eggleston's second career ASALMS Northern Division feature win as his first ever triumph came at the Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Illinois back on May 24th in the George Appleton Memorial 125.

Chad Finley settled for second over Josh Nelms, who finished a season high third. Griffin McGrath, who had to go to the rear of the field early in the race, bounced back to finish fourth over 2007 Dixie Motor Speedway Sportsmen Track Champion, Kyle Hayden, who picked up a career high fifth place finish.

Carquest Maritimes Pro Stock Tour - Shawn Turple of Enfield, NS won the Parts for Trucks 100 at Riverside International Speedway, located near Antigonish, NS on Saturday evening. Turple took the lead from Wayne Smith (Timberlea, NS) on lap 50 and held it all the way through lap 100. Craig Slaunwhite of Terence Bay, NS finished second, ahead of Donald Chisholm from Antigonish, NS. Smith and Shawn Tucker of Fredericton, NB rounded out the top five.

CRA Super Series - Scott Hantz won Sunday's CRA Super Series event at Fairgrounds Speedway (TN).

DIRTCar Pro Stocks - Its been five years since Joey Ladouceur captured the elusive Mr. DIRTcar Championship and four seasons since the second-generation driver from Alexandria, Ontario last reached victory lane in Pro Stock Series competition.

On Saturday night Ladouceur grabbed the broom out of the closet and proceeded to make a clean sweep of the entire full-fender program at Autodrome Drummond. Not only did he score his first series victory since September of 2005, the ’04 overall Hoosier Tire-VP Racing Fuels Mr. DIRTcar Champion topped time trials in record fashion, copped his qualifying heat race, then led every lap to collect $1,000 for his ninth career tour triumph in the headline ‘L'Authentique Trucking 50’ in front of capacity crowd.

NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour / NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour - Donny Lia won Wednesday night's historic NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Bristol Motor Speedway (TN).  George Brunnhoelzl, III was the highest finishing NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour competitor and was credited with a victory for that Tour.  Speed51.com was on hand to bring you our Trackside Now coverage.


Pro All Star Series - Sunday's race featuring the PASS North Super Late Models, PASS Modifieds and PASS Sportsman scheduled for Canaan Fair Speedway (NH) will no ttake place as scheduled due to the forecast of rain.

True Value Modified Racing Series - Chris Pasteryak won Saturday's race at Seekonk Speedway (MA).

USARacing Pro Cup Series - Brandon Ward claimed an emotional victory Sunday in the rain-delayed Hampton Virginia Honor Flight 250 at Langley Speedway, a day after the North Carolina resident’s father suffered a heart attack in the track’s garage.

Rick Ward was rushed to Sentara Careplex Hospital Saturday afternoon where he received two stents and was expected to be released on Monday.

Woody Howard and Bobby Gill finished second and third.

WoO Sprint Cars - Heading into the 2009 season, only four drivers in the history of the World of Outlaws had won at least 100 career A-Feature events. Donny Schatz added his name to this illustrious list on Saturday night in his home state of North Dakota, picking up the monumental win at Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, to join Steve Kinser, Sammy Swindell, Doug Wolfgang and Mark Kinser as the only drivers to accomplish this feat in the 31-plus year history of the series.

Schatz took the lead from Danny Lasoski on the 23rd lap coming off the fourth turn and would pace the field for the remainder of the 35-lap contest to pick up his 12th win of 2009. It was his first career win at Dacotah Speedway in his second start at the high-banked 3/8-mile.
