ACT - Eric Williams of Hyde Park, VT dominates the 11th Annual Merchants Bank 150 at Thunder Road Speedbowl (VT) as the last 106 laps are completed without a caution. Williams started fifth and worked his way to first during a caution plagued opening 44 laps. Williams took the lead from Dave Pembroke on about lap 50. Scott Payea caught Williams on lap 122 as they worked their way through heavy lap traffic, but once traffic cleared Williams was too strong.

Patrick Laperle appeared to be catching Williams after working his way up from 23rd, but never got a chance to contend for the lead as the laps ran out. Laperle would end up second, Payea third, Dave Pembroke fourth and Brian Hoar fifth.

ASA LM North - In front of a jam-packed and enthusiastic Chicagoland crowd, Brett Sontag the Orland Park, Illinois driver stormed to the lead early and held off all comers after a late-race restart to claim the checkers in Saturday night's Illiana Derby "Run for the Roses" 100 at the Illiana Motor Speedway.

ASA Midwest - It was almost two years since Nathan Haseleu won his last American Speed Association Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment. Tonight, he ended that drought by winning the Joe Shear Classic at Madison International Speedway as he held off Jeremy Lepak for the win. 1) Haseleu 2) Lepak 3) Travis Sauter 4) Kelly Bires 5) Dan Fredrickson

ASA Northwest - Garrett Evans (E.Wenatchee, WA) waited until the final green flag lap to win the first ever iRacing.com ASA Northwest Late Model Tour feature. In 1985 Evans won the first ever Northwest Tour race. Gary Lewis a close 2nd and Brent Harris was third. Twenty cars started the ‘Apple Blossom 125’ at Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval in E. Wenatchee, WA.

Evans took advantage of the new commit cone restarts. With first place Lewis and second place Harris choosing to go to the inside Evans went to the outside putting himself along side of Lewis at lap 119. When they got back to the finish line under green Evans beat Lewis by les than .200 of a second. Another caution came out as Evans and Lewis crossed the line. While getting the field lined for the restart the track got too wet forcing an early end to the 125-lap feature.

Big 8 Series -  Ross Kenseth did it again on Sunday, picking up his third career BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet feature win in the “Joe Shear Classic 38”. The 15-year-old Kenseth rallied from a sluggish start using a little bit of luck to best a field of 51 Big 8 Series late models at Madison International Speedway and in the process, he brought the packed house to their feet in approval.

CRA - This weekend's Budweiser All-American 150 CRA Super Series North and South combination event at
Nashville's Fairgrounds Speedway (TN) have been rained out.  No makeup date has been announced.

GAS - The Georgia Asphalt Series will have to hit their home track of Lanier National Speedway in Georgia next week, on May 9th. Rain canceled Saturday night's race at Lanier.  The event will count as a Lanier Super Six weekly event, as well.

Main Event Racing Series - John Doering won the season opening event at Angola Motor Speedway (IN). 

PASS - Chris Staples took the lead  from DJ Shaw on lap 129 of Saturday’s Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North super late model feature at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway and led the final 21 laps to earn his first PASS super late model  win. The 2007 PASS Mod champ beat Adam Bates to the stripe by 1.022 seconds .Kelly Moore finished third, Shaw faded to fourth and Derek Ramstrom raced home fifth.

Rocky Mountain - Inclement weather claimed the win at Rocky Mountain Raceways outside Salt Lake City, Utah. Next up for the CarbonX Rocky Mountain Challenge Series is the annual Memorial Day classic back at RMR on Monday, May 25.

SLM - Jared Allison scored the victory in the Super Late Model feature at Orlando SpeedWorld on Friday night.  1)  Allison  2) Blake Koch  3) Jason Vail  4) Rusty Ebersole  5) Shaughn McCormick
