TrackPR Report

Continued construction despite heavy rains, on-track tire testing, and outside community activities highlighted a busy week at Gresham Motorsports Park.

Rains that flooded large parts of Georgia left their mark on GMP this week but didn’t stop construction on several projects as GMP speeds toward its opening event – the 26th-Annual World Crown 300 November 13-15.

A break in the weather, on-track tire testing and seeing race cars and trucks tour the freshly paved GMP half-mile oval had members of the track’s management team smiling throughout the day Thursday.

Meanwhile, a trip to the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce’s race-themed 2009 Membership Drive produced plenty of smiles as well as GMP works to make itself part of Jefferson, Jackson County and the area surrounding the race track.

To illustrate all, the track has created several photo tours in the Image Gallery area of GreshamMotorsportsPark.com.
