For this week's "Shock of the Week..."
At the end of last season, the NASCAR Camping World East Series wasn't even on the radar screen for Matt DiBendetto.  Now, just two races into his career in the series, the 17-year-old is the newest winner in Camping World East thanks to his Saturday night victory at Tri-County Motor Speedway (NC).

That performance earned Matt DiBendetto the Pro Shocks "Shock of the Week" award.

Our panel of experts spread their votes among a number of short tracke drivers this week, but none of them gathered more votes than DiBendetto, who battled hard with Austin Dillon for the top spot late in the Tri-County race.

Among those also recieving votes this week were:

Alan Tardiff, who battled to the pole position and a third-place finish at Tri County - taking on big-time developmental teams with his lower-budget operation out of Maine.

Paddy Rodenbeck, who became a first time victor in UARA-Stars compeititon by winning at Concord.

Justin Lofton, who won the biggest race of his career by winning the ARCA RE/MAX Series event at Talladega.

Austin Hill, who finished fifth in his Late Model debut during the ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour event at Dillon Motor Speedway (SC)

Ted Christopher, who did what seemed impossible by battling back from a flat tire to win the Spring Sizzler NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Stafford Motor Speedway (CT).
For his “Shock” of a performance, DiBendetto will receive a product gift certificate from Pro Shocks, the short-track leader in racing shock technology and performance.  Based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Pro Shocks has helped drivers on both dirt and asphalt perform better for more than 25 years.
