Pro Shocks Shock of the Week
This Week's Big Surprise in Short Track Racing
As Decided by the Staff of

Every week, our esteemed panel at will determine the most improbable, fascinating or "shocking" moment from the week and award the Pro Shocks "Shock of the Week."  The winner each week will receive a product gift certificate from Pro Shocks, the leader in short track shock technology and performance.  At the end of the season, the most "shocking" moment will be awarded the "Shock of the Year" and the winning driver will receive a special gift from Pro Shocks.

For this week's "Shock of the Week..."
Corey LaJoie doesn't even own a Late Model Stock Car any more.  Not after he destroyed his own car in a wreck.

But, on this past weekend, Lajoie still won one of the biggest Late Model Stock Car events of the season - the UARA-Stars show at Rockingham Speedway (NC) - with a borrowed ride.  That accomplishment has earned Corey LaJoie the vote of our panel of experts for the Pro Shocks "Shock of the Week".

The victory was LaJoie's first UARA victory and it couldn't have come at a bigger venue than the track that formerly hosted two NASCAR Cup Series events every season.

LaJoie was the overwhelming choice of our panel, but that doesn't mean that there weren't a few other worthy candidates who finished on the podium as well.

Sean Caisse made the most of a one-race deal by winning Sunday's ARCA RE/MAX Series event at "The Rock".  Some people didn't even know that he was on the entry list, so to leave the track as the big winner is a shocking accomplishment.  He finished second in our voting this time around.

Bubba Pollard also earned plenty of votes, enough to place third in our balloting, for being able to maintain his current hot streak in the Southeast and winning the Viper Series event at South Alabama Speedway.

For his “Shock” of a performance, LaJoie will receive a product gift certificate from Pro Shocks, the short-track leader in racing shock technology and performance.  Based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Pro Shocks has helped drivers on both dirt and asphalt perform better for more than 25 years.

Pro Shocks is proud to have the largest and most knowledgeable technical staff in the racing shock industry. For more information about Pro Shocks, log onto or call 770-995-6300.
