Pro Shocks Shock of the Week
This Week's Big Surprise in Short Track Racing
As Decided by the Staff of Speed51.com

Every week, our esteemed panel at Speed51.com will determine the most improbable, fascinating or "shocking" moment from the week and award the Pro Shocks "Shock of the Week."  The winner each week will receive a product gift certificate from Pro Shocks, the leader in short track shock technology and performance.  At the end of the season, the most "shocking" moment will be awarded the "Shock of the Year" and the winning driver will receive a special gift from Pro Shocks.

For this week's "Shock of the Week..."
There were some heavy hitters entered in this past weekend's ASA RC Cola/Moon Pie Southeast Asphalt Tour regular season opener at Mobile International Speedway (AL).  Jeff Choquette, Jason Hogan and Josh Hamner were just a few of the drivers who have won races and titles and entered the Mobile race.

But when the checkered flag flew, a 15-year-old up and comer was the surprise winner.  Max Gresham wasn't intimidated in the closing laps of a very physical race and notched his first career ASA SAT victory in the event.  That fete earned him the respect of our panel of experts who voted him as the winner of the Pro Shocks "Shock of the Week."

Gresham was the overwhelming vote-getter this week and the race is the high point, for the time being at least, of the budding young driver's short track career.

Also receiving notice from our panel this week were John Bolen for coming back from spins and wrecks in both ends of an ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour doubleheader weekend to post two podium finishes; John Henegar, Jr. for winning the rough and tumble Southern Super Stars opener at Huntsville Speedway (AL) and Chase Elliott for recording a top 10 finish in his ASA Late Model debut at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

For his “Shock” of a performance, Gresham will receive a product gift certificate from Pro Shocks, the short-track leader in racing shock technology and performance.  Based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Pro Shocks has helped drivers on both dirt and asphalt perform better for more than 25 years.

Pro Shocks is proud to have the largest and most knowledgeable technical staff in the racing shock industry. For more information about Pro Shocks, log onto www.proshocks.com or call 770-995-6300.
