ASA Late Models Gets Ready to Race at The Milwaukee Mile
Badgerland 150 to Kick Off '09 Challenge Series Schedule
ASA LM PR Report
The ASA Late Model Series Returns to the Mile for the Badgerland 150 on May 16th and 17th.

The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts is heading back to the Mile.  The ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division opener will be on May 16th and 17th at the Milwaukee Mile.  This will be our 4th consecutive year at the mile and each year we put on a great show.

This year we can look for some great talent in the field with participation from teams such as Nascar Nationwide Series 2008 Rookie of the year Landon Cassill who has already made 2009 appearances in the ASA Late Model Series North and South Division and adding a win on his resume at South Georgia Motorsports Park on April 25th.

Stephen Liecht, the series 2005 ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division Champion also has plans to run this high profile event.  Stephen currently runs in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with Richard Childress Racing.

Ross Kenseth, the young son of Matt Kenseth will also throw his hat in the ring.  Ross has already ran two ASALMS events in the North Division this season and is already turning heads in the industry.

Past Mile Winners Eddie Hoffman (2009 ASALMS North Champion) and Brian Campbell (2005 ASALMS Challenge Rookie of the Year) will also be back to defend their titles.

2008 ASA Late Model Series South Division Champion Jimmy Lang plans on making this his 1st start of the 2009 season.  Also returning is 2008 ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division Champion Peter Cozzolino.
There will be plenty more talent on hand for this opening event for the ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division at the Mile and we look forward to giving Milwaukee fans a great show to remember.

We would also like to thank our fans and teams for helping us support our military and veterans with support of the American Legion.  The 76 Jerick Johnson has been instrumental in putting together some great programs for the event which will include; Car show Appearance with the 76 American Legion car on Friday, May 15th, Wheel Chair Games  for participants on Saturday, May 16th, American Legion Riders - Riding in on their motorcycles to present the American Flag to the Color Guard on Sunday, May 17th.

We will also implement the 'Inaugural 'Holley Dash' for addition racing fun for the fans.  This Dash will be comprised of the top 6 qualifiers and give the fans some flavor of the top teams before the main event 'The Badgeland 150'.

Tickets are just $10 for adults and $5 for kids, grandstands open at 12pm on Sunday, May 17th.  For more information or group tickets, please call our office at 800-385-2503 or contact the Milwaukee Mile ticket office at 414.453.8277
