ISCARS Sanctioned by ASA To Unveil a New Sport Compact Body Style at PRI
ASA PR Report
The International Sport Compact Auto Racing Series (ISCARS) DASH Touring Series sanctioned by the American Speed Association (ASA) will be unveiling a new sport compact body style car for their series at the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show.  The 22nd Annual event will take place on December 10-12 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

The new body style will be on display at booths 1408/1410 at PRI.

The new style will will be complete with flared fenders and a wing on the rear deck that also fits ISCARS' template that is affordable and cool looking.  It will also feature a Honda four-cylinder, fuel injected engine which boasts a total cost that is more in line with the cost to fully prepare a popular V-8 crate motor.

"We are looking forward to unveiling a new look for the DASH series," Randy Claypoole, ISCARS founder said. "This is a big step for the ISCARS brand as we continue to promote stock car racing, sport compact style...Sanctioned by ASA."

Claypoole also said that the current chassis and the V6 engine will remain eligible.  The new body will meet the need and the demand for a modern look.  The four-cylinder fuel injected engine offers an affordable alternative.  ISCARS has developed a thorough plan of transition that will allow time for adjustments.  And, efforts are already in progress to encourage manufacturers to build engines to represent their brand.

"We look forward to the unveiling of this new car," Dennis Huth, ASA President said.  "Randy has done a great job in coming up with this idea and to feature it at PRI is the perfect place to do it.  Anyone attending should take the time and check it out."
