Kyle WIlson Makes Move From Pro Challenge to ARCA
Makes Plans to Enter Seven Races For Capital City Motorsports

Pro Challenge Series Rookie of the Year Kyle Wilson has been named development driver for Capital City Motorsports.

Capital City Motorsports also announced that Wilson would compete in seven ARCA RE/MAX Series races in 2009 in Dodges prepared out its Columbus, Ohio-based shop.

"We are looking forward to working with Capital City Motorsports and Greg Sarff." said Wilson. "I'm really excited to have the opportunity to take my racing career to the next level and the ARCA RE/MAX Series is the right choice for me. My dad and I have been working really hard for a long time and I can't wait to start testing in a few weeks."

Announcements regarding marketing partners are also expected in the coming weeks for the 09' season and beyond.

"Kyle has proven his abilities in the Pro Challenge Series and we are looking forward to building on that success and taking Kyle to the next level in his career," said team owner Greg Sarff, who has 66 series starts as a driver with top-10 finishes at Nashville, Talladega and Kentucky.

"We have some great organizations supporting Kyle in the ARCA RE/MAX Series; and I'm confident that Kyle will do an outstanding job both on and off the track," added Sarff.

Wilson is expected to make his career-first series attempt April 5 at Salem Speedway in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200.

Wilson has competed in Quarter Midgets from 2002-2006. He has 72 wins and 102 top-three finishes in addition to six regional championships. In 2007, he competed in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series with 10 starts including five top-five finishes with a career-best finish of second. In 2008, Wilson competed in the Pro Challenge Series where he earned Rookie of the Year honors.
