The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at Bristol Motor Speedway is arguably the most anticipated event in the open wheel groundpounder series’ long and storied history.  “Thunder Valley” in Tennessee will be filled with the top talents from the Tour’s Northern and Southern divisions on Wednesday, August 19th and fans from across the Eastern Seaboard have their plans to fill the mecca of short track racing for the event.

The folks at and 51 Radio, the internet’s leaders in short track racing news coverage, are just as pumped up for the UNOH Perfect Storm 150 at Bristol.  That’s why Speed 51 Radio will present a special post-race show live from Bristol Motor Speedway on Wednesday, August 19th on  RTR will also have more coverage on what is being billed as “Modified Madness” with Dennis Michelsen, Lori Munro and the editor of, Mike Twist, chatting about all the day’s events from the RTR studios.  That show will start at 7:00pm, with the live post-race show following the SPEED tevlevision coverage of the UNOH Perfect Storm 150 at approximately 8:00pm.

Throughout the day, will have updates from Bristol Motor Speedway with its “Trackside Now” coverage of the UNOH Perfect Storm 150.  Fans will also be able to check out the Facebook page for some quick behind-the-scenes videos from the day.  Then, just minutes after the drop of the checkered flag, the entire cast will recap the entire race and have post-race interviews from all the major players in the outcome of the race.
