ACT Late Models – Joey Pole won Sunday's ACT Late Model Governor's Cup 100 at Lee USA Speedway (NH).  To read how he did it and to see the full results, check out Speed51.com Trackside Now coverage of the event.


ARCA RE/MAX Series – Canton, Georgia rookie Matt Hawkins wasted no time in asserting himself among the ARCA RE/MAX Series ranks. Hawkins, in his career-first series start, tracked down Matt Carter just in time, rubbed fenders just enough and cruised on to win the Prairie Meadows 250 Saturday afternoon at Iowa Speedway.

The 20-year-old driver, in the JaniKing-Racing Radios Dodge, drove underneath Carter through turns one and two with six laps to go to earn the momentous victory.  1) Hawkins  2) Justin Allgaier  3) Frank Kimmel  4) Matt Carter  5) Jeese Smith

ARCA Trucks – ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series veteran Steve Christman, in the no. 19 Bagman Racing Chassis-R&B Fabrication Chevy S-10, led flag to flag Saturday night at Anderson Speedway to win the season opening Lincoln Welders 100. 1) Christman  2) Paul Haun  3) Rob Jones  4) Robbin Slaughter  5) Bill Withers

ASA Late Model Series, South Division – Jimmy Lang won his second straight ASA LM South race.  This time, his victory came at New Senoia Speedway (GA).  1) Lang 2) Colt James  3) David Odell  4) Justin Larson  5) Bubba Pollard

ASA Midwest Tour - A great crowd was on hand to witness Jake Ryan lead a trio of hometown drivers to capture the Kwik Trip 125 at Elko Speedway in Elko, MN. It was Ryan’s first win in the ASA Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment.  1) Ryan   2) Dan Fredrickson 3) Jacob Goode  4) Tim Schendel  5) Donny Reuvers

Brighthouse Challenge SLM Series – After starting seventh after the invert, fast-qualifier Tim Russell grabbed the lead on lap 12 and dominated over the remaining laps of the Bright House Challenge 50 at New Smyrna Speedway.  The only caution flag of the race was for Jeff Choquette's suspension problem which led to his right-rear tire going flat.  1) Russell  2) Patrick Conrad  3) Justin Drawdy  4) Brian Finney  5) Jeff Scofield

CRA Super Series - Due to inclement weather the USAC Sprints Rich Vogler Classic and CRA Super Series Manning Service 100 will be postponed for one week.  The entire show including the CRA Street Stock's Max 40 and the Vore's Welding and Steel CRA FWD Compacts will be run on Sunday, April 27th.

NASCAR Camping World East Series – Peyton Sellers rebounded from a brush with the wall and hasty repairs on pit road to win his first career NASCAR Camping World Series East event Saturday night at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Greenville, S.C.

The 24-year-old from Danville, Va., won the An American Revolution 150 presented by Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet in dramatic fashion over 17-year-old rookie, Austin Dillon, who was competing in his first NASCAR series event.  1) Sellers  2) Austin Dillon  3) Marc Davis  4) Ben Stancill  5) Eddie MacDonald

NASCAR Camping World West Series - Eric Holmes won a fierce battle with his teammate Austin Cameron to take the victory in the Allstate Texas Thunder 150 NASCAR Camping World Series West event at Thunder Hill Raceway on Saturday.

It was the second win in three races this season by Holmes and the fourth of his career.  1) Holmes  2) Austin Cameron  3) David Mayhew  4) Eric Hardin 5) Jim Inglebright

NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour – Saturday night’s NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour event at Caraway Speedway (NC) was rained out.

PASS Modifieds – Andy Shaw won Saturday afternoon’s opening race for the PASS Modified series at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway (ME).  1) Andy Shaw  2) Gary Norris  3) Mark Lucas  4) Tom Oliver  5) Ronald Gooden, Jr.


PASS North SLM – Mike Rowe, Ben Rowe and Travis Benjamin staged a short track battle royal in the Pro All Stars (PASS) North super late model opener at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, and when the dust settled Mike Rowe was in victory lane by one-one hundredth of a second . Ben Rowe came up inches short for second with Benjamin half a car length back in third. PASS Sophomore Adam Bates scored a career best fourth place finish and Beech Ridge master Bub Bilodeau rounded out the top five.


PASS Pluffybilt Racing Tractors Sportsman Series – Terry Merrill won the PASS Pluffybilt Racing Tractors Sportsman Series season opener at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway (ME) on Saturday afternoon.  1) Terry Merrill  2) Ron Smith  3) Richie Morse  4) Duane Seekins  5) Shane Tatro


Pro Challenge – Saturday’s Pro Challenge race at Frankin County Speedway was rained out.

USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series - The only person hoping for rain in the Miller Lite 250 at South Boston Speedway was Danny Abold. On Lap 161, Mother Nature granted his wish Sears Auto Center Northern Division opener on Saturday night.

Abold was one of the few drivers that elected not to come to pit road early in the race and when the skies opened for good around 11:30 p.m., Abold picked up his first Hooters Pro Cup win.  1) Abold  2) Benny Gordon  3) Mikey Kile  4) Mike Hampton  5) Jay Fogleman

VIPER SERIES - 15-year-old Johanna Long won her first-ever Late Model race Saturday night at South Alabama Speedway.  Long made a last lap, last corner pass for the victory in race #1 of the Opp, AL facility's Viper Series.  The Pensacola native is the daugher of long-time Late Model driver Donald Long.  1) Long  2) Talent  3) Odom
