Morse Wins PASS Mod Feature at Wiscasset Series PR Report
Stops Mark Lucas' Win Streak at Three
Bridgeton Maine’s Troy Morse put his Northeast Concrete Pumping PASS Mod on the pole for Saturdays PASS Mod race at Wiscasset Raceway and raced to victory in the forty lap feature event. The win was Morses' first of 2008.
Morse jumped out to an early lead and it took a lap seven caution to bring him back in reach of the field. On the restarts Morse and Kenny Harrison battled side by side but each time Morse prevailed. Harrison gave Morse all he could handle for the majority of the race, but lost the second spot to Gary Norris Jr. with one lap to go. Harrison would settle for third; Andy Shaw and Steve Bennett Jr. rounded out the top five.

Morse’s victory ended a three race win streak for point leader Mark Lucas, who came across the stripe seventh in the fifth event of the ten race PASS Mod schedule.

The PASS Mods will be back on track Saturday July 5th at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough Maine.
