Website 101 Being Offered By 51 Sports
Website Company Aims to Help Racers in Tough Economic Times by Teaching Web Skills
These economic times are difficult for many. People around the country are looking for ways to save a penny, especially racers and their teams. That's why 51 Sports, one of the leading website design companies in the racing industry, is stepping up to help. Company officials announced today the debut of a “Website 101” package where racers can learn how to update their own sites from trained professionals in order to save money.
“We are excited to help racers help themselves,” said Matthew Dillner, co-founder of 51 Sports, LLC and the nation's top pavement short track racing website Speed51.com. “We wanted to offer the racer a more affordable option to website maintenance. While 51 Sports still offers full design, maintenance and PR releases, we are now going to teach those who want, how to update and manage their own site, plus be there for support when they need it.”
Website 101 will enable racers access to their websites on a 24/7 basis. Website 101 clients will learn how to place text, pictures and graphics in the sites to preview and recap races, announce sponsors, create blogs and so much more. After the teaching process is complete, 51 Sports will then be on-call during business hours for support if clients have any questions.
Packages begin at just $750 for Website 101 by 51 Sports.
“I know we, as a company, have been tossing this around for the past couple of years, but it wasn't until we hit this tough economic period that we figured out how to do it for the racing community and beyond,” said Jason Buckley of 51 Sports and Editor of LegendsNation.com. “Whether you are an Asphalt or Dirt Late Model competitor, a Sprint Car racer, or a Legends or Karting driver, this package can help everyone save money. Together with the design and expertise of 51 Sports, you can have a professional website that will pay a lot of dividends for you and your team.”

Speed51.com has become a leader in online motorsports information by focusing on the Short Track Racing realm. 51 realized nearly eight years ago that there was a void in the industry for news and behind-the-scenes stories. Now, 51 is viewed by thousands of fans per day.
In 2006, 51 Sports also launched LegendsNation.com, which covers the 600 Racing industry of Legends and Bandolero racing. This year, LN is expanding to cover the country through this form of racing.
