51's Weekend Update
Who Won and What Happened
LATE MODEL STOCK CARS – The pits were packed at Myrtle Beach Speedway (SC) this weekend with cars attempting to qualify for Sunday's Myrtle Beach 400 LMSC race.  In the end though, it was local racer Sam Yarbrough who walked away with the race victory and the $10,000 winner's check.  Yarbrough passed Marty Ward with eight laps to go for the race lead.  1) Yarbrough

PASS ROLLING THUNDER MODIFIEDS – After a long caution-filled race in the Mason-Dixon Meltdown at Concord Motorsport Park (NC), Billy Morris made a late-race pass for the lead and held on to win the PASS/Rolling Thunder Modified 50-lap race.  AJ Winstead crossed the line a close second with Ken Vigean, Joe Scarborough and Rodney Brooks rounding out the top five.

PASS SOUTH SUPER LATE MODELS - Ben Rowe won the second annual Mason-Dixon Meltdown Saturday night at Concord Motorsport Park (NC) after a wild last lap.  Corey Williams led the race going into turn four, but had to slow slightly to avoid a wrecked car.  Rowe's spotter told him to go high and that's what he did, with the hammer down, to take the lead.  Meanwhile, Ryan Lawler got knocked out by a wreck early on, but was still able to lock up the 2007 PASS South championship.  For a full recap, and complete results, check out Speed51.com Trackside Now coverage of the race...
