ASA LATE MODELS SOUTH - Beau Slocumb took the lead on Lap 103 of the Alabama 125 at Birmingham International Raceway and from there, held off stiff challenges from his Brothers Racing Team teammate, 17-year-old John Wes Townley to record his Fourth ASALMS Southern Division Feature Win of the season.

Jeff Choquette finished fourth which was good enough to win the 2007 ASA Late Model Series Southern Division Championship and Rookie of the Year title.  1) Slocumb  2) Townley  3) Michael Pickens  4) Choquette  5) Brandon Johnson

LMSC - Wayne Ramsey netted his biggest payday of the season at South Boston Speedway (VA) Saturday night, outrunning a stiff field of challengers to win the season-ending SoBo 300 NASCAR Late Model Stock Car race.  Ramsey, in a 69-lap green-flag run to the finish, edged C.E. Falk III of Virginia Beach, Va. by 1.553 second to win the $10,000 first prize of the event that carried $52,300 purse.  1) Ramsey  2) Falk  3) Philip  Morris  4) Justin Johnson  5) Adam Barker

SUNBELT SUPER LATE MODEL SERIES – Saturday night's race at New Smyrna Speedway (FL) was rained out and will not be made up.  The Sunbelt Series has two more scheduled events in 2007 - a November 2nd show at Orlando Speedway (FL) and the November 17th Governor's Cup at New Smyrna.

PASS SOUTH - Cassius Clark led a Northern charge on Greenville-Pickens Speedway (SC) by winning Saturday night's Howler 150 PASS South Super Late Model Race.  Clark held off fellow Mainer Ben Rowe and Massachusetts teen Derek Ramstrom for the victory.  1) C.
