The Big Action is Down South This Weekend
Pro Late Models will be wide open at Peachstate this weekend.

The season is winding down, but there are still some big races like the Snowball Derby, Mason-Dixon Meltdown, Turket Derby and Myrtle Beach 400 still on the horizon. This week, the big show will be in the Peach State of Georgia, with a little bit of racing down in Florida to also fill the bill.
World Crown Weekend, Peachstate Speedway GA) – This is the big one for the Pro Late Models boys and girls. Local hotshoes along with Georgia Asphalt Series racers will highlight the weekend when they hit the track for Sunday's Zaxby's World Crown 250. A $10k winner's purse has already attracted pre-entries from racers like David Hole, Kyle Fowler, Joey Senter, Mike Garvey, Ronnie Sanders, Matt Hawkins, Taylor Satterfield, Michael Pope, Gary Helton, James Buescher and Ronnie Kittle - just to name a few.
But the PLM action isn't on that will be in store this weekend. The Aaron's Pro Challenge Series will cap off their season and decide their 2007 champion on Saturday at Peachstate. The Peachstate weekly divisions will also be in action.
Speed51.com will have Trackside Now coverage of the World Crown 300 on Sunday. Stay tuned for more
Other Races This Weekend:
The Fall Classic, Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway – The track used to be dirt, but since it went to asphalt, Las Vegas’ “Bullring” has been a mecca of short track racing. The Fall Classic event routinely draws the biggest names in Super Late Model racing in the Southwest and this year’s event is no exception as hometown hero and NASCAR Nextel Cup Series driver Kyle Busch has entered the Bullring’s 2007 grand finale. Racing begins on Friday with qualifying and heat races, as well as the Bomber and IMCA Modified features. Saturday will see features for Thunder Roadsters (40 laps), Bandoleros (20 laps), Chargers (40 laps), Legends (40 laps), Late Models (100 laps) and Super Late Models (140 laps). For more information, please call (702) 644-4444 or visit www.LVMS.com.
Goodyear Challenge Late Model Series, Orlando Speedworld (FL) - Rich Clouser is hoping a good finish in the Goodyear Challenge Series Late Model race at Orlando on Friday night will result in his second series championship. There are plenty of other capable drivers in the house at Orando who are looking to end their 2007 seasons on a winning note too.
Brighthouse Challenge Super Late Model Series, New Smyrna Speedway (FL) - There will be 50 laps of action on tap for the Super Late Models on Saturday night at New Smyrna Speedway (FL). This race is going to be the final tune-up before next weekend's Florida short track classic, the Governor's Cup, so it will be interesting to see who rolls through the pit gates at NSS.
