GEORGIA ASPHALT SERIES WELCOMES NEW SPONSORS FOR 2007 SEASON
Circle Racing Wheels and Champ Oil Pans Join Impressive List of Returning Supporters
The Georgia Asphalt Series has seen an incredible growth since its inception in 2004 – growth that has made the regional Pro Late Model touring division into one of the most successful in the Southeast. Outstanding car counts and fair on-track action are just part of what has made GAS a success on the track. As with any aspect of racing, a driver, team and even series are only as good as its marketing partners.

Atlanta Freightliner will once again be the sponsor of the Georgia Asphalt Series Pole Award at each GAS event during the 2007 season. Other companies returning for 2007 include Five Star Race Car Bodies, who will once again sponsor the Rookie of the Year title, while Hightower Racing Transmissions returns to sponsor of the Hard Charger Award in 2007.
In the first three GAS seasons, many contingency sponsors and supporters of the tour have stepped up to help build the series. That list continues to grow as the 2007 season rapidly approaches. GAS officials are proud to announce today that Circle Racing Wheels and Champ Oil Pans will be part of a list of contingency sponsors for the 2007 season.
