ARCA Issues Penalties After Kentucky Event
Teams of Lagasse, Crocker, Blount and Santos Face Fines and Point Losses
Based on post-race technical inspection after Saturday night's Buckle Up Kentucky 150 ARCA RE/MAX Series event at Kentucky Speedway, four teams have been penalized for 2007 ARCA Rulebook violations as follows:

The Cunningham Motorsports #4 team has been fined $3000 and driver Scott Lagasse Jr. and team owner Kerry Scherer have been penalized with the loss of 50 championship points for violation of minimum roof height, 2nd violation in 2007.

The Evernham Motorsports #98 team has been fined $1500 and driver Erin Crocker and team owner Ray Evernham have been penalized with the loss of 25 championship points for violation of minimum roof height.

The Jones Group Racing #30 team has been fined $1500 and driver Chad Blount and team owner Terry Jones have been penalized with the loss of 25 championship points for violation of maximum engine compression.

The Bill Davis Racing #02 team has been fined $1500 and driver Bobby Santos III and team owner Bill Davis have been penalized with the loss of 25 championship points for violation of the maximum front air dam width.
