SHORT TRACKERS PICK THEIR NCAA TOURNEY BRACKETS  by Jeremy Troiano and Matt Kentfield
We've Got 17 Players To See Who Is The Best
We’ve got brackets from both basketball and sports fans and brackets from non-sports fans.  Some of our players spent hours and hours debating their choices, while others just flipped a coin to choose their winners.

“My bracket was actually in my school folder,” said Super Late Model driver and high school student Landon Cassill.  “Yeah, I filled my brackets out at school.   One of my teachers actually came up to me while I was filling it out.  He wasn’t mad though; he was going through it with me and stuff.”

“For the record, I have never gone against my (North Carolina) Tar Heels in a bracket and I don’t intend to this year,” said Pro Cup driver Mike Herman.  “I lost a bet
with one of my crew members in South Georgia.  Chris Lambert and I bet that if Duke won the ACC tourney, I would run a big Duke logo on the c-post in Montgomery (AL).  If UNC won, he would have to wear a Carolina shirt and hat around all day.  Well, I lost that bet so you’ll see a stupid looking "D"on my car in Alabama.”

Speed51.com will follow our racers' results during each round of the tournament and post it here.   We’ll list who has the best records and who has the worst records.   We’ll update the standings after each round and declare an overall winner.

It will be a fun way for short track racing fans around the country to see how they stack up against some of the racers they watch every weekend.
Landon Cassill hopes to be leading the pack at the end of Speed51's NCAA Tournament Challenge
As we do from time to time here at Speed51.com, we’re jumping on the sports bandwagon.  As we’ve done in the past with the Super Bowl, World Series and other high profile sporting events, we’re asking short trackers from around the country who they think is going to win, but this time, with a twist.

This year, we’re going to ask a select group of racers, series officials, sponsors and even a couple of us here at Speed51 who they think is going to win the NCAA basketball tournament.  We're not only looking for the winners, but their entire bracket rundowns, as well.
