BEECH RIDGE PASS SOUTH EVENT RAINED OUT AGAIN
Nearly 40 Teams On Hand, New Date Will Be Sept. 10th
Mother Nature has not been a friend to Northeastern short track racing this season, a fact reinforced by the second postponement of Sunday’s New England Dodge Dealers 150 for the Pro All Star Series North Super Late Models at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine.  This is nothing new for the series - out of the ten races PASS North scheduled to this point in 2006, seven have been impacted in some way by rain.
Dave Dion, Dale Shaw and Kelly Moore; Beech Ridge regulars Trevor Sanborn, Curtis Gerry, Bill Rodgers and David Oliver as well as several competitors from other area tracks such as Bill Whorff, Jr., Joey Porciello, Brad Hammond, Paul White and Mike Maietta.

The New England Dodge Dealers 150 at Beech Ridge is now set for Sunday, August 27th.  Racing action is scheduled to get underway at 1:30pm.

The PASS North Series will return to action next weekend, with a visit North of the Border to Autodrome Montmagny in St. Pierre-Montmagny, Quebec on Sunday, September 3rd.

The new rain date for the New England Dodge Dealers 150 will be Sunday, September 10th.

The event was originally scheduled for August 20th, but rained out.  The second attempt to get it underway was halted on Sunday afternoon when showers started as practice took place.  A healthy field of Super Late Models were assembled at Beech Ridge.  Nearly 40 cars were present in the pit area.

In addition to the PASS North regulars, there were several new faces at Beech Ridge including PASS Outlaw drivers Derek Ramstrom, Jimmy Rosenfeld, Mike Fowler and Chris Staples; former NASCAR Champions
