With only a few days left until the Fairgrounds Music City Motorplex’s “Spring Clash 350,” the pre race entries have soared to over 110 cars and stars.
The ASA Late Model Challenge Series inaugural event,
the “Waffle House 200” entry list has reached 55,
including several local Nashville stars, Michael Driskell,
Keeton Hanks, Dillion Oliver, Bo Miller and Willie Allen.
Several veteran ASA drivers already entered include
Charlie Menard, Ryan Carlson, Josh Hamner and Butch
Miller. The “Waffle House 200” will be televised on Men’s
Channel and I-Drive on tape delay.
The CRA Super Late Model Series “All American 150”
entries have reach 54 including three of Roush Racing’s
Gong Show finalists, sprint car sensation Sondi Eden,
2004 All American 400 winner Chuck Barnes Jr. and 2005
All American 400 winner Jason Hogan. Other veteran of
the Fairgrounds track looking to take home the Barry
Clapp Copley champions guitar include Chicago’s Fast Eddie Hoffman, 2003 All American winner Brian Hoppe, AutoZone Elite champ Tim Schendel and the Alabama gang led by Charlie Bradberry, JR Norris and Stanley Smith.
Saturday, March 18 grandstand gates open at 1:00pm followed by qualifying runs beginning at 1:15pm. Midas Records recording group Emerson Drive will perform a pre-race concert between 4:00 PM and 4:45pm. Racing starts at 5:00pm.
