legendary races of all-time, the historic Milk Bowl in Vermont.  It's a picture perfect weekend for short track racing and we'll bring the fans all of the behind-the-scene stories.”

The blitz has already started down South.  Legends and Thunder Roadsters have started to descend on Lanier National Speedway for this weekend’s big events.  Among the 200-300 entries at Lanier, will be Speed 51’s own Matt Kentfield bringing fans all of the action when the features get underway on Saturday October 7th.  He will do so after making the haul over from the ARCA RE/MAX Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on Friday afternoon.

51’s Jeremy Troiano will be heading to LaCrosse, Wisconsin this weekend for a triple-header as part of Lacrosse’s Oktoberfest.  He will take in the action of the NASCAR Midwest Series in its series finale.  That won’t be all either.  Troiano will also be at the track covering the ASA Late Model North and ARTGO Reunion events.
“This is what Speed51.com is all about,” said Speed51.com founder and SPEED Channel personality Bob Dillner.  “We try to cover as many races as possible for the fans of short track racing.  This weekend we'll be bringing fans a little bit of everything.  We’ll be at the final race for a historic NASCAR series (the NASCAR Midwest Series at LaCrosse, WI), a special event for the Super Late Models down South (The Neil Bonnett Memorial 100 at Birmingham, AL), plus the biggest race of the year in Legends Car competition.

“We’ll also be covering ARCA at the big track in Talladega with Formula One driver Juan Montoya making his stock car debut, Modifieds in the Northeast, Pro Challenge in the Southeast and one of the most

The blitz is a tactful and precise strategy for a football team's defense to attack the opposing quarterback.  Usually, the strongest and most talented players on the defensive unit are the ones rushing on the blitz.  The same philosophy that the best football minds in the nation share is being utilized by the country's leader in short-track racing news, Speed51.com this weekend.  51 will be sending their own team of talent to cover the short track racing world all over the map this weekend with its own "Weekend Blitz."
Bowl at Thunder Road and the field was set before the feature was delayed a week by rain.  A rising star, 17-year-old Joey Pole, will lead the field to the green flag on Sunday with guys like Ben Rowe, Jean-Paul Cyr, Patrick Laperle and Brent Dragon in his mirror.  That promises to be a great race.  Modified fans will see championship battles heading down the homestretch with the NASCAR Whelen Modifieds at Waterford and the True Value Modifieds at Seekonk and we’ll have it all right here come Monday.”

Also in New England, Seekonk Speedway (MA) will be playing host to Super Late Models in addition to the True Value Modifieds on their annual DAV Memorial weekend, and Speed51.com will be there.

"Oktoberfest at LaCrosse is one of those races that everyone in the short track community knows about,” said Troiano.  “I'm really excited that Speed51.com is finally going to get the chance to go up there and be a part of this huge four-day event first-hand.  With 500-plus racecars racing over a four-day period, its bound to put on some pretty good races.  From watching the NASCAR Midwest Series run their final race ever at the track and deciding their final champion to watching Rich Bickle and Dick Trickle return to action in the Super Late Models, it will be a exciting event to be a part of."

In the Northeast, things have been a little wet lately to say the least.  Last week in Vermont, Thunder Road’s Milk Bowl for the ACT Late Models was postponed by rain after qualifying took place.  It has been rescheduled for this weekend and 51 will be there for the historic event with hopes that the rain holds off this time.

“It’s going to be a good weekend for short track racing in New England,” said Speed51.com’s Mike Twist.  “Last weekend, over 60 cars showed up to qualify for The Milk

Pro Challenge Series Regional action will be hot and heavy at Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) and we will be there as well to capture all of the action, as some of the best young drivers in the country duke it out for the top spot in the Carolina Region standings.
