PASS Super Late Models at the White Mountain bullring are almost beyond description. That is one of my favorite tracks in the country and the Super Late Models put on quite a show at a quarter-mile track. If you are at Loudon, you need to take a trip there on Saturday night. We’re in for some real treats next weekend.”
On the other hand, Troiano isn’t sure what to expect.
“I’m always hearing about New England racing and how different and special it is,” said Troiano. “I don’t know what to expect. I’ve seen a lot of these guys on the track before at the PASS South races, Florida Speedweeks and the North-South Shootout at Concord Motorsport Park. I know that there are some great racers among them, so it will be interesting to meet more of them and see them in their own environment.”
Among the Speed51.com race coverage will be updates, race stories, leftovers and photos from all of the events.
But why just take in the sights? A dedicated group of “race peepers” are gearing up for a busy few weeks of on-track activity in New England and Speed51.com will be right with them to take in the sights, sounds and smells of short track racing at its finest.
During two days, September 15th-16th, Speed51.com will be on hand for NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and NASCAR Busch East Series racing at New Hampshire International Speedway, as well as the PASS North event at White Mountain Motorsports Park.
Among the Speed51.com team who will be covering the trio of races will be Speed51.com Northeastern editor Mike Twist, Speed51.com founder and SPEED TV personality Bob Dillner, his brother Matt Dillner, who is a cameraman for NBC/TNT and Midwestern native/Southern transplant/Northeastern rookie Jeremy Troiano.
“Throughout the year, I go to tracks across the country,” said Bob Dillner. “I enjoy just about everywhere that I go, but I really look forward to going back home to New England. It’s the racing that I grew up around and developed quite a passion for; it’s where I get to see some old friends and most of all, it’s where there is some great racing.”
Although Dillner enjoys all of the racing that he’ll witness during New England’s “September Speedweeks,” there is one specific class of racing that has always been near and dear to his heart.
“My “Mighty Modifieds” are always the headlining act for me. Anytime you have the NASCAR Whelen Modifieds at the “Magic Mile” it’s special. The race is simply breathtaking. The Busch East cars put on a great show there in July with a last lap pass for the lead and the

Milk Bowl, which is such a great and unique race event that I can't even describe it. I'm lucky, because I'll be at both races coming up."

The races at NHIS and White Mountain are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Speed51.com’s fall coverage of the New England “September Speedweeks.” The following two weekends will bring extensive race coverage of the biggest events of the year for PASS North and ACT. Beech Ridge Motor Speedway will host the PASS 400 weekend from September 21st-24th and Vermont’s picturesque Thunder Road Speedbowl will be the site of The Milk Bowl for the ACT Late Models on September 30th-October 1st. Speed51.com will be onsite for both big races.
"I'm excited about sharing the racing that I know and love with my co-workers," said Twist. "This is a great time of year in New England; the nights are cool, but the racing is heating up. I only wish that Bob and Jeremy could stay a few more weeks to see the longest Super Late Model race of the year - the Pullen 300 and the
