PASS Super Late Models at the White Mountain bullring are almost beyond description.  That is one of my favorite tracks in the country and the Super Late Models put on quite a show at a quarter-mile track.  If you are at Loudon, you need to take a trip there on Saturday night.  We’re in for some real treats next weekend.”

On the other hand, Troiano isn’t sure what to expect.

“I’m always hearing about New England racing and how different and special it is,” said Troiano.  “I don’t know what to expect.  I’ve seen a lot of these guys on the track before at the PASS South races, Florida Speedweeks and the North-South Shootout at Concord Motorsport Park.  I know that there are some great racers among them, so it will be interesting to meet more of them and see them in their own environment.”

Among the race coverage will be updates, race stories, leftovers and photos from all of the events.
But why just take in the sights?  A dedicated group of “race peepers” are gearing up for a busy few weeks of on-track activity in New England and will be right with them to take in the sights, sounds and smells of short track racing at its finest.

Among the team who will be covering the trio of races will be Northeastern editor Mike Twist, founder and SPEED TV personality Bob Dillner, his brother Matt Dillner, who is a cameraman for NBC/TNT and Midwestern native/Southern transplant/Northeastern rookie Jeremy Troiano.

“Throughout the year, I go to tracks across the country,” said Bob Dillner.  “I enjoy just about everywhere that I go, but I really look forward to going back home to New England.  It’s the racing that I grew up around and developed quite a passion for; it’s where I get to see some old friends and most of all, it’s where there is some great racing.”

Although Dillner enjoys all of the racing that he’ll witness during New England’s “September Speedweeks,” there is one specific class of racing that has always been near and dear to his heart.

“My “Mighty Modifieds” are always the headlining act for me.  Anytime you have the NASCAR Whelen Modifieds at the “Magic Mile” it’s special.  The race is simply breathtaking.  The Busch East cars put on a great show there in July with a last lap pass for the lead and the
